A 3d printed card reader holder, designed to add interest to your art market booth! This case will be a downloadable resource for creatives to customise and print for themselves.
The case fits a “SQUARE” card reader and can be used to make tap payments on the top or insert payments using the front slit. The top half of the case has a slot to insert a sign with instructions, branding or QR codes for alternate payment methods.
The case is designed to be easy to print, assemble and transport, so can be easily taken apart into two pieces. All of the buttons and the piece that attaches the two halves print separately to make it easier to add new colours to the design, and to make sure the case prints as smoothly as possible.

Created a product with a specific use. This product needed to have very specific dimensions, and had many different iterations to get it right for its intended use.
Designed with useability and simplicity in mind. Since these are intended to be files for other people to print, I had to stay on top of my organisation, layer management, and general ease of use. A template that only I can use isn’t a very good template, lol.
Developed a solution to a problem that balances looks and function. This product has specific aesthetic AND functional purposes and achieves this without sacrificing either of those qualities
